A guide to poker's best tables
Poker Stories is a hand-picked guide to the places where players tell their stories, argue strategy and find their next game. We don't run a forum. We point you to the best ones, and to the poker projects we're building ourselves.
Two sites we're building for players, card rooms and operators.
Live game finder · Las Vegas
A live poker game finder for Las Vegas. See which rooms are running which games and stakes before you leave the house, so you spend your night playing instead of driving around. Launching soon: join the waitlist.
Visit pokerwar.com →Premium domain · open to partners
A premium poker domain looking for the right partner. Card rooms, operators and investors can propose what to build on it, from a room brand to a forum or an online platform, through a lease, revenue share or acquisition.
Visit highlimitpoker.com →The forums and communities where the best hands, bad beats and trip reports have been posted for years.
Strategy & trip reports
One of the oldest and most influential poker forums on the internet. Deep strategy threads for every format and stake, plus legendary trip reports and stories from the felt.
Visit forumserver.twoplustwo.com →Daily discussion & bad beats
One of the busiest poker communities online. Hand histories, bad beats, tournament runs, live-room photos and daily discussion, voted up by the community.
Visit www.reddit.com/r/poker →Beginner-friendly community
A long-running, friendly poker forum with strategy sections for every level and an active community that welcomes new players.
Visit www.cardschat.com/forum →Where to follow the big tournaments and check any player's record.
Live reporting & news
Live tournament reporting from the WSOP and the major tours, with news, interviews and strategy articles.
Visit www.pokernews.com →Live tournament database
The reference database of live tournament results. Look up any player's career cashes, biggest scores and rankings.
Visit pokerdb.thehendonmob.com →Post it on Reddit r/poker, where the community loves a good sweat and a worse river.
Two Plus Two has a long tradition of detailed trip reports.
CardsChat is patient with beginners and has strategy sections for every level.
Share it on a forum, then check how it ranks on The Hendon Mob.
Poker Stories is a curated guide to the best poker forums, communities, news sites and tools. Instead of running its own forum, it sends players to the places where poker stories and strategy are already discussed.
Reddit r/poker and the Two Plus Two forums are the most popular places to post bad beats and memorable hands.
It depends on what you want: Two Plus Two for in-depth strategy and trip reports, Reddit r/poker for daily discussion, and CardsChat for a beginner-friendly community.
PokerWar.com is a live game finder for Las Vegas that shows which rooms are running which games. It is launching soon and you can join the waitlist now.
